Diagnostic description.
Female. Body size 7.3 mm, ovipositor length 9.7 mm, fore wing length 6.3 mm (Fig. 15); colouration, head and metasoma dark brown, mesosoma black, antenna orange except last 3 flagellomeres brown, propleura and pronotum dark brown, fore and mid legs orange, hind legs dark brown, metasoma and ovipositor sheaths dark brown, wings hyaline except for infuscation of distal quarter of 1st marginal, 4th submarginal cell, hind wing veins largely spectral, some pigmentation of Cu vein (Fig. 16G); head quadrate, width 1.2 × length, postocular space 0.5 × eye length in dorsal view (Fig. 16C), raised transverse carina above toruli absent, malar space 0.3 × height of eye (Fig. 16A); length of scape 1.4 × pedicel length, 1st flagellomere 1.1 × length of scape, 0.8 × 2nd flagellomere; mesosoma length 1.3 × height, mesoscutum in lateral view truncated antero-dorsally (Fig. 16D), length 0.8 × width in dorsal view (Fig. 16E); medial lobe reticulate-rugulose; ovipositor guide oblique, positioned distally (Fig. 16F); ovipositor sheath length 1.5 × fore wing length; fore wing vein 2-Rs+M 1.0 × 1-Rs+M, three hamuli equidistant; metasoma pyriform, T1+T2 length 1.4 × width in dorsal view.
Material examined.
Holotype. AUSTRALIA – ACT • ♀, “AUSTRALIA, Canberra, A.C.T., 5 MAR 1978, E. McC. Callan” (ANIC). Left fore leg missing tarsomeres 2–5 and claw.

Distribution.
The species is known only from the type collection locality, Canberra, ACT (Fig. 88).
Biology.
