Diagnostic description.

Female. Body size 8.4 (6.5–8.4) mm, ovipositor length (13.0–16.0) mm, fore wing length 7.0 (5.4–7.0) mm (Fig. 77); colouration light-brown, except flagellomeres 2 to tip, most of mesosoma, metasomal T1 and ovipositor sheaths brown; wings with brown tint (Fig. 78G), hind wing veins spectral; head shape quadrate, width 1.4 (1.1–1.2) × length, postocular space 0.8 (0.7–0.9) × eye length in dorsal view (Fig. 78C), raised transverse carina above toruli absent, malar space 0.3 (0.2–0.3) × height of eye (Fig. 78A); length of scape 1.5 (1.5–2.5) × length of pedicel, 1st flagellomere 0.9 (0.6-0.9) × length of scape, 0.8 (0.7–0.8) × 2nd flagellomere; mesosoma length 1.5 (1.5–1.6) × height, mesoscutum in lateral view rounded antero-dorsally (Fig. 78D); mesoscutum length 0.8 (0.8) × width in dorsal view (Fig. 78E); medial lobe rugose; ovipositor guide oblique, positioned distally (Fig. 78F); ovipositor sheath length (2.4–2.6) × fore wing length (Fig. 77); 2-Rs+M 1.0 (0.8–1.0) × 1-Rs+M, three hamuli, equidistant (Fig. 78G); metasoma pyriform,T1+T2 length 2.1 (2.0–2.5) × width in dorsal view.

Material examined.

Holotype. AUSTRALIA – Victoria • ♀, “Mallee District Vic” (NMV). Left antenna missing, right fore leg, last two tarsomeres and claw missing, last half of ovipositor missing.

Paratypes. AUSTRALIA – Victoria • 3 ♀♀, Mallee District, same data as holotype (MVMA) 1 ♀, Melbourne, 2.1913, Dixon leg. (NMV).

Distribution.

This species is known only from Melbourne and north-western parts of Victoria (Fig. 97).

Biology.
